The Course Tour of Course Booking Details Facilities Garrett Lee is situated amidst quiet country lanes, footpaths and bridleways and spectacular countryside. The area offers safe off-road riding to visitors.
A professionally designed and built cross country course extends the range of riding opportunities available in this beautiful area. Incorporating lakes, banks and quarries, as well as woodland copses, all levels of riders, from the very novice to the more experienced, will be able to choose their own route from the many options on offer. Why not extend your stay using our excellent accommodation and take advantage of our unique facilities for your horse. We provide a choice of safe grazing in paddocks with purpose-built shelters or full stabling in purpose-built loose boxes. There is also ample parking for your vehicles. The course is completely enclosed within 1 very large field. The old permanent pasture provides excellent going over inviting, undulating countryside. Natural streams meander through 3 water complexes, and a large wood identifies the southern boundary. While raised banks and quarries have been created from existing geographical features, the emphasis has remained on providing natural, inviting jumps. There are at least 2 alternatives at every fence - one to a maximum of 2'9" and a smaller option to a maximum height of 2'3". Many fences are a combination of jumps, and riders can choose their own routes through these complexes. One complete circuit of the course is approx 2.5 miles in length, but the range of options on offer encourages riders to extend this. Take a virtual tour of the course. Course Pass Open to all. Cost: £15/horse for UK Chaser members, additional £2/horse for non-members (membership forms available). Must be pre-booked. Course Hire Available to groups or clubs for private training purposes. To Book Please call us to check availability of the course. Tel: (01670) 788474 Warm up and Warm Down The bridleways and permissive access surrounding the course would provide an ideal opportunity for visitors to cool-down and unwind with a gentle hack through some spectacular unspoilt countryside. Hose Down Toilet facilities are available together with a supply of hot and cold water for drinking and hosing horses legs. Free Parking Plenty of free parking is available at Garrett Lee.
